My love for creating started as a kid, sketching, drawing and painting anything I could imagine. My Grandma taught me how to sew, knit, and crochet, from that point on I fell in love with the process of bringing My imaginations to life.
In high school, I sharpened my skills at the High School of Fashion Industries, then went on to the Fashion Institute of Technology. I tried to explore other paths such as Interior design which I do love & aspire to circle back to, but I always found myself coming back to this. Now, I create with no rules, letting ideas flow and taking inspiration from wherever life leads me.
Rareselections is all about pushing boundaries. I construct garments with architectural silhouettes, using fabric as my building material. It’s my take on Ready-to-Wear—Rare, detailed, and collectible pieces that blur the line between art and clothing. Each item is made to order to reduce waste, ensuring that every piece is as intentional as it is unique.
I’m just a girl from Harlem, doing things my own way. Fashion is my freedom, my self expression, and my story and every piece I make is an invitation to dream.
